In September of 2012, Pastor Luke Seamon accepted a call to Reformation Lutheran Church as pastor, having previously served calls in New Mexico and Colorado and served as a missionary in the Republic of Croatia.
A Lutheran convert, he is convinced that evangelical Lutheran teaching is the unheard, undiscovered treasure that believers and unbelievers alike need. He loves preaching the Gospel to sinners (like himself), teaching Scripture, visiting, practicing the cure of souls, singing hymns, presiding at the Divine Liturgy, baptizing, and surprising people with just how captivating Scripture and theology actually are.
In addition, he enjoys life with his more sensible side (his wife) and his family’s resident theologian (his daughter), who both make his life overall more fun and beautiful. He also likes to pretend to play guitar, write poetry, and hike and is occasionally tolerated as the family cook. Lately, he has been learning piano and trying not to take himself so seriously.
