Please plan to attend the Mardi Gras Party at Reformation Lutheran Church on Saturday, February 6, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. There will be games, prizes, and Mardi Gras beads. If you wish, come in a costume (but it is not necessary – just come and have fun). Dinner will be New Orleans style foods and desserts. We will also talk about why “Mardi Gras” and about the beginning of Lent – what that means for all of us. After dinner, we will proceed to the nave for a short worship service where the children will place the “Alleluia” banner in a box and place it in the altar to be brought out again on Easter morning. Please ask other family members and friends to come. There is a sign-up sheet on the back table so that we know how much food to order. Hope to see you there!!
